37 Things to do in Victoria for Wedding Guests

So you’re having your wedding in Victoria? Why wouldn’t you?

Whether you are just visiting, have out of town guests, or both, Victoria has tons to offer. Make sure you set some time aside and get out exploring all the Island has to offer.

Wine, Beer, or Cider Tasting

The Island is home to whatever sort of liquid you fancy. Grab your friends and tour some of the best tasting beverages on the map!

  2. Check out cideries Merridale and Sea Cider (their Rumrunner is a must try!)

  13. Hike the beautiful Mt. Finlayson

  14. Hang out with the dogs on Dallas Road or Clover Point and relax by the ocean

  15. Go swimming at Sooke potholes or walk the Whiffin Spit

  16. Spend a day at Thetis Lake

  17. Rent kayaks and paddle through Fisherman's Wharf, Brentwood Bay, Gorge Waterway...and pretty much everywhere (it's an island)

  27. Grab a Harbour Ferry punchcard and cruise around the harbour

  28. Relax by the ocean and listen to the waves crash at Sooke Harbour House (P.S. the food is sublime)

  29. Summer or winter, Butchart Gardens is beautiful to visit - and the Butterfly Gardens too!

  30. IMAX in the Royal BC Museum will keep everyone entertained

  31. Some of the most beautiful golfing is on the Island — So pack your clubs!

  32. Take in panoramic views of Victoria from Mt. Tolmie Park

  33. Kids and adults love Beacon Hill Park and the Beacon Hill Petting Zoo — goats and peacocks together at last

  34. Feed the sea lions at Fisherman’s Wharf, followed byome delicious fish and chips at Barb’s Place (we vouch for this Island favorite!)

  35. Simply take a drive and see the Uplands and the beautiful homes

  36. Visit Oak Bay Marina for some coffee

  37. Soak up some sun at Willow's Beach
