Local Film Maker's Wedding Proposal: Fake Jewelry Ad

What could be better to watch than a heartwarming tale of creativity and young love?

We couldn't be happier for two of our local lovebirds, Dave and LJ.  Dave Wallace is a local film maker and he found the perfect way to propose to his favorite lady, who he met on set four years ago. He decided to go all out and enlist the help of his team to try and surprise the woman who could supposedly "read him like a book."

Watch the video and see this adorable, sneaky proposal in action!

I first heard of this proposal on a post by NoFilmSchool.com  where they interviewed Dave about the experience:

As most filmmakers know, doing what you love can take a big toll on other aspects of your life. You have to manage your time and create a good balance with the people you care about. I met LJ on-set almost 4 years ago. Not only has she supported me while I pursue what I love to do, but she has actively been a part of it. Her passion for acting gives us constant opportunity for collaboration. To date, she has been in over 30 of my music videos and commercials. We’ve spent so much time on-set together, it felt like the perfect place to have a little fun with a proposal.

On a personal note, I first met Dave about two years ago when he approached me to use my dog, Roxie Girard in a music video he directed for local band, Zerbin. They had a blast and LJ was actually in the video as the evil dog owner!

We couldn't be happier for these two and wish them a wonderful future filled with many more videos. It's great to see local talent doing amazing work and finding love - that's what it's all about. Congratulations!
